Fans might be witnessing Gemma Collins returning to television screens sooner than anticipated.
The TOWIE icon is the most recent campmate to depart the I'm A Celebrity... South Africa jungle during Monday's (April 20) instalment of the ITV reality programme.
Reflecting on her experience 12 years following her initial appearance in Australia, The GC remarked: "All good things have to come to an end, but all I can say is it has been so amazing being able to relive it again.
"It was great to see Craig [Charles] and Jimmy [Bullard] again, and to spend that time with them again has just been priceless. Plus, meeting new campmates, forming new bonds and listening to everyone's stories. I've had a blast."
She continued: "At one point, I really did feel the producers were trying to kill me! I said it in the Bush Telegraph. I'm very lucky, I do have a few luxuries in life. I missed having a bath and putting all my lotions and potions on at night.", reports the Mirror.
"I also missed my magnesium, I always spray it on the soles of my feet before I sleep. One thing I missed was just getting up in the morning, the moment you get out of bed, and feeling that soft carpet beneath your feet. Water... I am so appreciative of water!
"I'm proud of myself for sure. I got redemption for myself and I didn't say no to anything. I got on and did it. It definitely wasn't easy at times, but I'm really proud of myself for sure. 100% it's given me a confidence boost." Since departing camp, Gemma has shot up in the bookmakers' predictions to feature on the next series of Celebrity Traitors, with Ladbrokes reducing her odds from 12/1 to 4/1.
The reality television star has received strong backing in recent days to join the BBC programme, with punters certain she would be essential viewing in the notoriously cutthroat castle.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes commented: "Punters are clearly buying into the idea of Gemma Collins bringing full GC energy to Celebrity Traitors. Her odds have been cut dramatically, and at this rate she could be one of the standout names when the cast is revealed."
The inaugural series of Celebrity Traitors proved a ratings triumph for BBC One when it broadcast earlier this year and witnessed comedian Alan Carr outsmart all his rivals as a Traitor and depart with nearly £90,000 for charity.
The grand finale of the widely-discussed programme attracted 15.4 million viewers, so it's hardly surprising that the broadcaster is eager to assemble a second series and replicate that level of achievement once again.
While nothing official has been confirmed just yet, host Claudia Winkleman recently disclosed that some household names have indeed committed to the project.
During an appearance on The One Show, the former Strictly Come Dancing host was questioned whether numerous big names were set to feature on the forthcoming game show. Claudia revealed: "There certainly are. The people who make it are extraordinary and they had to repeat the people twice to me because I was like, 'Huh, are you joking? Come again.' So, we're incredibly lucky.
"We're so grateful that people want to come and play the game and the people who said yes for series one, I still can't believe it."
I'm A Celebrity... South Africa airs Monday to Friday on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm
